SCAN LAND WORKSHOP

On July 22, SCAN held a workshop on the 13 acre land on Hardware Street. We started the workshop with a brief introduction to our organization and the project of SCAN Land. We then invited everyone to spend a little time exploring the landscape on designated paths, and then regathered to discuss their impressions. We had a great turn-out and learned a great deal from our discussions. It was clear everyone was excited about the prospect of having SCAN Land to be used as a future public space!

Please see below for a short video and photos from that evening’s gathering!

Thank you to everyone who showed and our wonderful volunteers who helped make this workshop happen! With our community’s input, we’re more excited than ever to continue the process of transforming this space into a natural and “wild” landscape with the aim to foster, educate, and inspire the intersection of the arts and the environment.

Please stay tuned as we continue to make progress on this project!
